At Flight Room, we have taught over 100 expert aerial instructors and over 8,000 students since 2014. We are well respected for our commitment to safety and our creative, trademarked style of aerial yoga. 

Some unique elements of our teacher training:

Flexibility: Our on-demand format means that you can complete the program on YOUR schedule. If you have work or family commitments (or a fun vacation planned), you can just adjust your coursework as needed. 

Interactive: unlike other online programs, we make sure to build a relationship with each of our teacher trainees through regular conversations in our private Facebook group. You'll have the opportunity to have YOUR questions answered and get all of the support you need. 

Ongoing support: our commitment to your learning doesn't end when you get your certificate. You'll have continued access to our Facebook group even after you complete the course. 

Personalized feedback: we're here for you anytime you'd like feedback on your practice teaching or have questions about the course.

Mentoring opportunities: following successful completion of the program, you will have the chance to continue to receive feedback from senior Flight Room instructors through our mentoring program (included in your tuition.)

Nope! And, in fact, several of our most popular teachers did not teach mat yoga prior to becoming certified in our Flight Yoga™ method. 

Those who have a background in teaching movement generally have an easier time cueing from day 1, but we build in a LOT of practice teaching time so all students will be comfortable teaching by the end of the course.  

Absolutely! You'll just want to plan on starting with the 12 Week Immersion, which is included in our Flight Foundations Teacher Training program for free (reg. $349.) Once you're confident in aerial yoga fundamentals, you're welcome to progress to the teacher training portion of the course. 

Generally speaking, it will take 10-15 hours or so to complete each module including homework and practice teaching.

Since the content is on-demand, you can take your time and complete the course on your own schedule. We recommend spending at least a full week on each module so you have time to fully integrate the material and practice your new skills. 

We want to make sure that all of our graduates are prepared to teach a safe, high quality aerial yoga class upon graduation. To receive your certificate you will need to:

• Complete all training modules and homework and submit a log for time spent practice teaching each module
• Plan, teach and record a full length "test out" class and include a 3-5 paragraph essay about how you structured your class, what you learned and anything you'd change for next time
• Pay any outstanding tuition balance due 

We have graduates who teach all over the world and in a variety ways; some teach in studios, some work one on one with students (online or in person), some run aerial yoga retreats and some have even gone on to open up their own studios! 

We are not affiliated with Yoga Alliance (aerial yoga teacher trainings are generally not unless part of a 200 hour training.)
