What is included in the hammock kit? Will I need anything else?
STUDIO QUALITY HAMMOCKS
Our sets are the very best available for home practice--our kits include the professional-quality hammocks (the soft, silky and incredibly durable fabric used by Cirque du Soleil) and climbing-grade rigging equipment that we use for our in-studio classes.
Each hammock is 9 feet wide, which means that people up to 6’3” can lay completely covered from head to heel. Our fabric also has horizontal stretch (vs. the vertical stretch used in most sets sold online), which means it’s safe and comfortable on your skin. (Beware of any hammock material described as "parachute fabric"!)
Our Hammock Kits Include:
1 Studio Quality Nylon Tricot Silk Aerial Yoga Hammock (rated for up to 600lbs)
2 Steel Locking Carabiners (rated for 1900 lbs each)
2 Climbing Grade, Height Adjustable Daisy Chains (rated for 2000 lbs each)
You will need a method of safely rigging your hammock--the most popular options are installing x-mount hooks (available for $25 for the pair on Amazon) into the ceiling or purchasing a freestanding aerial rig (available at a variety of price points and sizes.) Elevate your movement practice! We will cultivate technique and artistry, culminating in a contemporary dance routine learned and practiced over six weeks.
Classes include a hybrid of aerial flow and ballet/modern technique, conditioning and work on tricks and timing. We focus not only on the movement, but the intention behind it and our partnership with the silk. No dance experience required.

Why? As much as we love sharing the gift of aerial yoga with everyone, we are super committed to delivering a high quality experience to each student. This means small live stream classes (most Zoom aerial classes have 1-4 students) and time to personally respond to all student questions.
